In a major step for education in Sindh, three provincial education boards have released their first-ever results through a digital e-marking system. The announcement covers Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part I and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part I annual exams 2025.
Under the new system, the Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, and Larkana boards collectively compiled the results. Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahu attended the ceremony and announced the results along with the chairmen of the three boards.
Speaking during the event, Minister Rahu praised the technological shift: “The modern e-marking system greatly enhances transparency and removes the possibility of human error or unfair assessment practices."
The provincial government intends to expand this digital approach to all Sindh education boards by 2026. In this way, the aim is to guarantee timely and merit-based results for students throughout the province.
During the ceremony, the minister congratulated the position holders and distributed shields and prizes amongst the students who received high marks. The event was joined by teachers, students, and parents to witness the province's shift toward digital assessment.
