
Steam Game Recording is now available across all Steam games for creating and sharing gameplay footage. The company announced the feature a few months ago as an alternative to software and apps used for capturing games from graphics vendors such as AMD and Nvidia.

“Today, that feature is coming out of beta, with it now being available across all Steam games for creating and sharing your gameplay footage, which runs in the background so you never miss a moment," the company stated.
The built-in Steam Game Recording lets players capture their games using background recording for quickly securing highlight clips when required.

Players can also start recordings manually via a designated hotkey or configure automatic triggering, with customisable settings for duration, quality, and storage allocation.
Using the Steam Overlay, the company also added a replay option that lets Steam users quickly rewind and scrub through their most recent recordings to see what happened earlier in the game.
Valve has updated Steam Game Recording with several other features, including adding “advanced” export options, the ability to configure game-specific settings, and Session View.
Valve has also dropped support for Windows 7 and 8, as well as Macs running on macOS 10.13 and 10.14
