TECNO is launching its new Camon 40 Pro in Pakistan with an official arrival date of April 5, 2025. The handset is already pre-ordered for a single model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

While the Camon 40 Pro introduces some improvements, it also compromises a few.

What’s new in TECNO Camon 40 Pro?

The battery capacity has gone up marginally to 5,200mAh from 5,000mAh last year, but the charging speed has come down from 70W to 45W. TECNO says it still charges completely in 43 minutes, perhaps because of some advanced battery tech, although that remains to be seen.

The camera configuration is a mixed bag. The primary 50MP camera and 50MP front camera stay the same, but the ultrawide lens gets downgraded from 50MP to 8MP. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen also gets downgraded slightly from 144Hz to 120Hz refresh rate.

However, TECNO has improved durability. Unlike the Camon 30 Pro, the new model features Gorilla Glass 7 for screen protection and an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. It is also lighter (178g) and slimmer (7.3mm) than before, making it more comfortable to hold.

The price of the Camon 40 Pro in Pakistan is still unknown, and buyers will have to wait until the official launch on April 5 for details. Stay tuned for more updates on the TECNO Camon 40 Pro price and specs in Pakistan.
