Courtesy to Tarun Vats, a prolific tipster, who on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared the in-making One UI 6.1 update patch which he claims might be added to the following Samsung smartphones:

  • Samsung Galaxy S23
  • Samsung Galaxy S22
  • Samsung Galaxy S21
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
  • Samsung Galaxy A54
  • Samsung Galaxy A34

With the exception of the Galaxy S23 FE, the enlisted smartphones are those that Samsung recently released over the past year or so.  However, there are chances that the list will expand substantially once One UI 6.1 is announced and wider testing and rollout begin.

Ice Universe, another speculator, shared on X that One UI 6.1 enhances animations by improving their frame rate, resulting in a smoother and more refined visual experience.

Apart from all that, Samsung seems to have eliminated the extensive background blur effect, leading the leaker to speculate that this decision may be attributed to higher power consumption.
