Oppo Find N5 is expected to launch in China in February as the world’s thinnest foldable phone.
The handset was recently spotted on a popular benchmarking site which suggested that the Oppo Find N5 might feature Qualcomm's latest processor.
The handset is expected to be released globally as a successor to the Find N3. However, in markets such as Europe, India, and the US, it might be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2.
Oppo Find N5 appears on Geekbench
The Oppo Find N5, bearing the model number PKH100, was recently listed on Geekbench. In the single-core test, the device scored 2,948 and 3,083 points, while in the multi-core test, it achieved 8,196 and 8,865 points.
Based on the Geekbench data, the Oppo Find N5 will be powered by the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16 GB of RAM.
The device's benchmark scores show a slight dip in multi-core performance compared to the regular 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is expected due to the absence of one core.
However, it's important to note that benchmark scores don't always reflect real-world usage. In everyday tasks, the missing core is unlikely to significantly impact.
Oppo Find N5 specs (expected)
According to the first teaser, the Oppo Find N5 will boast a large 6,000mAh battery, supporting 80W or 100W fast charging and 50W magnetic wireless charging.
The device is expected to run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
The Oppo Find N5’s rear camera module is rumoured to feature a thinner design. It comprises a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.
