Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is scheduled on January 22 in San Jose, California, the US. Meanwhile, a promotional video for the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra has surfaced online, giving fans an early glimpse of the device's features.
Alongside the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the event will also be headlined by the release of the standard Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+ models.
Galaxy S25 Ultra leaked features
The leaked video showcased the Galaxy S25 Ultra's capabilities, including an enhanced Gemini Assistant, which has been integrated with Galaxy AI.
The video also introduces Now Brief, a convenient pill-shaped bar at the bottom of the screen that provides users with essential information, such as weather updates and sleep details.
Notably, this feature has been available in the One UI 7 beta.
The promo video also highlighted an improved "Nightography" mode, which enhances low-light photography.
A split-screen comparison shows the difference between a shot taken with and without the feature, with the Nightography-enabled version appearing brighter.
Additionally, the video demonstrated an Audio Eraser, a feature that allows users to remove unwanted sounds from recorded videos, similar to Google Pixel phones.
Galaxy S25 Ultra preorders
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 Ultra are expected to begin shortly after the event, on January 24 and might close on February 4, 2025.
