Are you a Netflix enthusiast addicted to Grand Theft Auto-themed titles' remastered iterations? If that is the case, then play the two classics as much as you can as both The Definitive Edition and Grand Theft Auto Vice City of the Grand Theft Auto 3 are set to leave Netflix on December 13.
While two of the most played classics on the streaming platform's gaming catalogue are bidding farewell, the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition will remain available for GTA enthusiasts to play on Netflix.
Grand Theft Auto 3 still available to play
The bright side of the development is that die-hard GTA freaks can still download the aforesaid titles from Google Play and the App Store, but buyers will have to spend $20 to savour the luxuries for each game.
Their departure comes around a year after the remastered titles, both originally released in the early 2000s for the PlayStation 2, were released on Netflix.
Citing Netflix, PCMag reported that the games are being removed for the expiring licenses — "just like with series and film."
To make users aware of games' impending removals, the streaming giant said it will add a "Leaving Soon" label to games whose departure will be scheduled, and it will also notify people in the app as well.
