
Vivo has become the first brand, after Google and Samsung, to introduce the new major version of Android. Typically, new Android versions tend to show face through Google's Pixel series and flagship handsets by Samsung.
However, for the first time in history, Vivo has taken the lead by introducing Android 15 on some devices, beating Google's Pixel 9 series and Samsung's update.
Vivo's Funtouch OS 15
VIVO Android 15 Version Vivo has officially rolled out its new Funtouch OS 15 version of the Android 15 operating system on September 30. The privileged customers already get to taste the upgrade with the following handsets:
- Vivo X100 series
- Vivo X Fold 3 Pro
- iQOO 12

Funtouch OS 15 features several exciting features including:
- AI-powered "Eraser" for removing unwanted objects from photos.
- Shadow removal tool for precise photo editing.
- Live Transcribe feature to translate spoken words to text in real-time.
- Private Space to manage personal apps.
- Partial screen Share with Secure.
It is rumoured that Google will roll out Android 15 for the Pixel 9 series in mid-October. The same cannot be said for Samsung. Vivo, however, was quick in action, resulting in the first non-pixel leads in the Android Update race.

This is Vivo's claim to fame in keeping users connected to timely software updates. Whether Vivo will be able to keep the edge going in the long run is still to be seen, but for now, it shows people the capability to adapt and innovate; hence, keeping at the top.
