Vivo offers price cut on V30 to increase sales ahead of V40 launch

Vivo launched its smartphone, Vivo V30 in March along with the Vivo V30 Pro. Currently, the company is preparing to introduce the successor to the handset — the Vivo V40 series, which is expected to launch in India on August 7. Ahead of that, Vivo has announced price cuts for the Vivo V30 variants.

Vivo V30 new price

The Vivo V30 is now available in India at INR 31,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variants are available at INR 33,999 and INR 35,999.

These rates are dropped from the release price of the Vivo V30, where the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB RAM and storage variants were available at INR 33,999 and 35,999, while the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option was priced at INR 37,999.

Users can purchase the smartphone through Flipkart, the Vivo India website, and offline retail stores. Customers can avail of a flat 10% instant cashback offer with select partner banks. Vivo is offering an 8-month no-cost EMI option for the 8GB/128GB version. With their purchase, buyers can also receive additional benefits like the Vivo V-Shield Protection Plan.

Noteworthy, the Vivo V30 is available in the same three colourways — Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and Peacock Green.

The Vivo V30 features a 6.78-inch curved 1.5K (2,800 x 1,260 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Its version runs on Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14.

The Vivo V30 is featured with a dual rear camera unit, having a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP secondary sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens alongside an Aura Light flash unit. The selfie camera holds also holds a 50MP sensor. The Vivo V30 is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.
