Vivo is expected to launch its upcoming headset, Vivo V50 in India soon. While the company has yet to confirm an official launch date, fresh leaks emerged on the internet, suggesting that the latest V series model will be announced in India next month.
The Vivo V50 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, providing users with a high-performance experience. The device is likely to feature a wide range of onboard storage options and could come in four different shades.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the Vivo V50 is gearing up to be launched in India in the third week of February, with a tentative date of February 18. Conversely, previous rumours claimed that the Vivo V50 Pro would be released at a later date in the country.
Vivo V50 specifications (expected)
Reportedly, leaks also suggested that the smartphone would be available in blue, grey, rose, and red colour variants and would be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
Moreover, the handset is expected to come in three RAM and storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.
Yadav also noted that Vivo would not be launching the Vivo V50 Pro model this time. The Vivo V50 is expected to debut as a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Vivo S20, which means that the specifications would likely be identical.
The Vivo S20 was launched in China in November 2024. This smartphone features a 6.67-inch (1,260×2,800 pixels) 1.5K AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor. It also includes a 50MP front-facing selfie camera and a 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
