This model is expected to complement the Vivo Y200 5G, which was released in India in October 2023. The vanilla Y200 featured a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC and a 4,800mAh battery with support for wired fast charging. Before any official announcements, details regarding the design and key features of the Vivo Y200e 5G have surfaced online.
Gadgets360, citing 91Mobiles. reported that the Vivo Y200e 5G appeared on the Google Play Console with the model number V2327. The phone is rumoured to be powered by an octa-core chipset bearing the model number SM4450, which is likely Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It is expected to be coupled with an Adreno 613 GPU and 8GB of RAM, and it is likely to run on an Android 14-based UI.

The report also mentions that the design of the purported Vivo Y200e 5G has been revealed online. The phone is depicted in a blue colour variant, but it is anticipated to be available in additional colour options. The design closely resembles that of the Vivo Y200 5G, featuring a triple rear camera system arranged in three separate circular units vertically alongside an LED flash unit.

The textured back panel hosts a rectangular camera module in the top left corner, akin to the older model, although the new phone may lack the Aura Light feature. The display showcases thick bezels and a centred hole-punch slot at the top to accommodate the front camera. The right edge houses the power button and volume rockers.
Notably, the Vivo Y200 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It boasts a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) AMOLED display and ships with Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. Its dual rear camera setup comprises a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) alongside a 2-megapixel sensor, while the front camera features a 16-megapixel sensor.
At launch, the Vivo Y200 5G was priced at INR 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, available in Desert Gold and Jungle Green colour options. Recently, the company introduced a new 8GB + 256GB variant priced at INR 23,999.
