The bygone tech conference from Apple, Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2024), brought a plethora of amazing features to all the flagship products of Apple, ranging from iOS and macOS to watchOS.

Best watchOS 11 feature

Announced at the WWDC 2024, one of the software updates that seem all set to grab headlines for featuring an assortment of extraordinary features is watchOS 11, the latest watchOS update for Apple Watch.

Standing out of those features is the nap detection feature, which automatically gets invoked the moment you fall asleep, and stops when you wake up to keep a record of your sleep time.

New health feature on Apple Watch

A meticulous Apple Watch user on Reddit posted about his fortunate luck of witnessing his sleep data inside the Health app after waking up.

The noteworthy thing is that the user, as reported by Mac Rumors, did not even set his Apple Watch in Sleep Mode.

With lack of a nap detection feature, current sleep-oriented features on Apple Watch include the ability to track and record sleep only when the Sleep Mode is set on the device.

If the reported development comes true, an Apple Watch running on watchOS 11 should possess the capability to record and have nap in the Sleep section of the Health app.
