In a bid to revamp users' messaging experience, the popular social media platform WhatsApp has made it easier for users to access its in-app Meta AI chatbot.

According to WABetaInfo, the latest update of the Meta-owned platform brings a shortcut for Meta AI on the designated chats tab, raising its prominence for seamless access for users.

It's worth mentioning that this notable feature has reportedly been added in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.25.10.79 update, removing the feature from its previous position atop the navigation bar.

This remarkable change is seemingly a step by the tech giant to eliminate the hassle of utilising its innate generative AI chatbot on large-screen devices.

This slight, yet remarkable, tweaking also aims to widen the feature's user base by attracting new users to explore AI-powered features and their extraordinary capabilities like generating personalised images.

As noted by the WhatsApp beta tracker, this design change is expected to have resulted from experimentation, especially for the Android version, where the shortcut looks like a floating action button.

Nevertheless, the wider rollout of the feature is said to depend on user preferences and feedback.
