WhatsApp is working on a new feature to let users add and manage multiple accounts within the app. This update is currently in development and was spotted in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS version 25.2.10.70, available via the TestFlight beta program.
The multi-account feature will allow users to log into WhatsApp with different accounts in the same app, making it easier to switch between personal and professional conversations. This eliminates the need for separate devices or apps like WhatsApp Business to manage multiple phone numbers.

Though not available to beta testers yet, WhatsApp plans to enable users to add multiple accounts directly from the app settings.
Users will have two options: set up a new account from scratch or link an existing account by scanning a QR code. This flexibility will make it convenient to switch between accounts without any hassle.
With this feature, users can keep chats, notifications, backups, and settings distinct for each account. It is especially useful for those with dual SIM devices who previously relied on workarounds to manage multiple WhatsApp accounts.
