WhatsApp is working on a new feature which will allow users to manage the visibility of their profile links, providing more control over who can see the social media links added to their WhatsApp profile.
Available on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.5.19 via the Google Play Store, the update is currently being rolled out to beta testers.

The new WhatsApp feature will offer four options to manage the visibility of profile links: "Everyone," "My contacts," "My contacts except," and "Nobody." These options will cater to different privacy preferences, making the experience with profile links customisable.
When the "Everyone" option is selected, profile links will be visible to all WhatsApp users, including those not saved in the contact list. This setting will be useful for users willing to increase their visibility and make it easier for others to discover their social media accounts.
Meanwhile, those who want to maintain a higher level of privacy can limit the visibility of their profile links to their contacts only. Users will have the option to exclude specific contacts from seeing their profile links, using the "My contacts except" setting.
This option will be useful for those who wish to restrict access to their profile links for specific people.
However, if users prefer not to share their profile links with anyone, they can choose the "Nobody" option.
It's worth mentioning that this feature will be completely optional, and users will not necessarily be required to add profile links.
