WhatsApp has started testing two latest features In a recent beta variant on Android. The Meta-owned messaging platform has added the latest widget that simplifies for users to access its Meta AI chatbot, without opening the app.
Meanwhile, the latest artificial intelligence (AI)-generated group icon feature is accessible to a few beta testers. Users can utilise Meta AI to create group photos using prompts.
After updating to WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.6.10, a few beta testers will find the latest option, enabling them to generate images using Meta AI.
Here’s how to enable it:
- Click on the pencil icon while viewing a group’s existing icon.
- Now, the “Create AI Image” will appear, leading users to a Meta AI prompt screen.
- Insert a prompt and wait for the chatbot to create several images. Swipe via the options to select the new group icon.
Meanwhile, the latest WhatsApp beta for Android (version 2.25.6.14) update, which was introduced to select beta testers a couple of days ago, launched the latest home screen widget. It is essentially a shortcut that lets users instantly access the Meta AI chatbot without launching the app.
