WhatsApp is testing a new feature which will allow users to share more than one picture on their status updates via the “sticker-like photos” feature.
The new feature is in the development phase but will soon be released to all users via a stable update. The company is rolling out the Android beta 2.25.5.20 version to WhatsApp beta users with the sticker-like photos feature for status.
Notably, the new addition will help you share sticker-inspired images on your status updates.
Currently, WhatsApp lets users share only one image at a time on their status. Those who needed to share three to four pictures at the same time ended up using a third-party application for merging images or making a picture collage.
The "sticker-like photos" feature is similar to the “Photos” tool in the Instagram story. Selecting this tool will allow you to reshape your image in the form of a rectangle, square, circle, heart, or star. Once done, you can overlay these stickers on your photos or videos.
The sticker Photos feature will allow users to manage multiple images in the same status. One can also resize or move these stickers anywhere on the status.
Currently, the feature is available to limited users via the Google Play Beta Program.
