WhatsApp is experimenting with a new feature to select the Meta artificial intelligence (AI) voice, that would let users choose their preferred voice from several voices for Meta AI, to offer a more interactive and personalised experience with the chatbot.

Meta-owned WhatsApp is currently exploring the execution of several voice options for Meta AI to make it more engaging. It is reported to integrate three different United Kingdom (UK) voices and two United States (US) voices, in varied pitches.

Moreover, WhatsApp users would get the opportunity to choose the voice for Meta AI that accurately matches a specific pitch, or regional accent for a more personalised experience.

Furthermore, there is set to be four different voices of well-renowned personalities. However, the names of those personalities are still under wraps.

When will it be available?

WhatsApp is likely to integrate a few more voices in other languages except English to enhance accessibility and cater to an extensive range of audiences shortly since the feature is currently in the rudimentary stage.
