The fading flare of the hype intact around the Galaxy S25 lineup was on the verge of reviving as the Galaxy S25 Edge's purported launch on April 15 was imminent; however, a recent leak has surfaced online, claiming that the upcoming Galaxy S25 variant is now off the books till May or June 2025.
The Galaxy S25 Edge's debut in mid-April was also corroborated by countless other rumours from tipsters in the industry. Now, a new leak has emerged with an estimated delay of a month or two.
Galaxy S25 Edge launch delayed till May or June 2025
If the given rumour has anything to go by, the Galaxy S25 Edge will now be launched in May or June 2025.
Citing an ET News report, Android Police noted that the latest Galaxy smartphone will be launched at a groundbreaking launch event sometime in the aforestated months.
While the publication nowhere mentioned the reason behind the company's plans for the unannounced delay, industry insiders link it to the unexpected demise of Han Jong-hee, Samsung Electronics' Vice President, earlier this month.
Another substantial factor which is supposed to have also deferred the Galaxy S25 Edge's rollout is the legal prosecution of Samsung President Yoon Seok-yeol later this week.
In the wake of the aforementioned developments surrounding the launch of Galaxy S25 Edge, it has been clarified that the delay has nothing to do with quality issues with the Galaxy S25 Edge.
