Apple is all set to host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from June 9 to June 13, 2025.
WWDC is a major tech event where Apple shares the future of its software with developers and users around the world.
What to expect from Apple WWDC 2025?
The conference gives a first look at new updates for iPhones, iPads, Macs, and more. This year, big changes are expected, especially in iOS 19, which will power the next generation of iPhones.
According to Apple, the event will begin with a keynote on June 9 at 10am PT, streamed live from Apple Park. The company will reveal what it calls “groundbreaking updates” coming to its platforms, including iPadOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12, and tvOS.
A second session, called Platforms State of the Union, will follow at 1pm PT, giving developers a closer look at the latest tools and software improvements.
WWDC 2025 will be a mix of online and in-person events. While the keynote is open to everyone through Apple’s website, YouTube, and the Apple TV app, developers had to apply to attend the in-person event at Apple Park.
WWDC 2025 expected announcements
Rumours suggest a fresh new design is coming to iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16, with cleaner icons and smoother menus inspired by VisionOS, the system behind Apple’s mixed-reality headset.
Excitingly, there’s also a lot of buzz around artificial intelligence. Experts expect Apple to showcase new AI tools under the name “Apple Intelligence”, possibly with updates to Siri and smart features that rival Google’s Gemini.
