
Exciting news for gaming enthusiasts as Microsoft has announced October 15, 2024, as the release date of its much-awaited two new Xbox Series X consoles along with a special edition, a 2TB Series X.
The tech giant revealed the consoles on Xbox Wire confirming the simultaneous release of the three upcoming consoles that are available to preorder.
While announcing the release date, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer acknowledged the company’s role in delivering high-quality games and efforts for the ever-changing landscape of the gaming industry.

These latest consoles will be rolled out across all countries where Xbox hardware is supported; however, many regions including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, and the UAE, are not included in the initial release.
Xbox Series specifications and prices
The All-Digital Xbox Series X will be only available in Robot White and is equipped with a 1TB SSD hard drive priced at $449.99. Meanwhile, the Robot White 1TB Xbox Series S costs $349.99 which is the same as its already available Carbon Black version.
Additionally, the Special Editon Xbox Series X is available in black colour spotted with green and white, and features a 2TB hard drive and a disc drive. It is priced at $599.99.
All three console variants won’t feature any extra power but are alternatives to Microsoft's current offerings, targeting the brand’s new customers.
Furthermore, Microsoft has an impressive lineup of game releases for this fall including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as major highlights.
