Xiaomi has officially confirmed the Indian launch of its upcoming Xiaomi 15 series smartphones. Taking to its official X (formerly Twitter), the Chinese smartphone maker announced that the Xiaomi 5 series will be launched in India next month, coinciding with the global launch on March 2, 2025. 

While the specific models haven't been officially named, it's expected that Xiaomi will launch both the standard Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India. The Xiaomi 15 Pro will likely remain exclusive to China. 

Xiaomi 15 series specifications

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. 

The handset is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 5,410mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support. 

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 4.3x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto camera. 

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15 sports a 6.36-inch 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and a 5,400mAh battery with 90W charging. 

The device is expected to offer 12GB RAM and up to 512GB onboard storage.

The pricing details for the Xiaomi 15 series have also surfaced, with the 512GB model of the Xiaomi 15 expected to cost €1,099 in Europe, and the 512GB variant of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be priced at €1,499.
