Xiaomi has confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, as the successor to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra,

As announced by the company, the smartphone will be released in China on February 27 at 7:00pm (local time). It will then debut in global markets on March 2 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be introduced alongside the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra electric vehicle (EV), RedmiBook 16 Pro 2025, and Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro earbuds in China.

The tech giant has posted official images revealing the design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which is confirmed to feature Leica-branded cameras and a HyperOS interface.

According to official renders, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a dual-tone finish. The rear camera unit is circular, and it resembles the camera modules found on previous Xiaomi Ultra series smartphones.

The camera setup consists of four sensors accompanied by an LED flash strip.

Notably, Xiaomi appears to have incorporated glass and vegan leather into the design. Moreover, the rear panel also displays italicised “Ultra” branding in the top-right corner, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall design.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will run the Android 15 operating system. It can be paired with up to 16GB of RAM.

The device’s rear camera unit comprises a 50MP 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide-angle camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 200MP sensor with optical zoom.
