Exciting things are coming for Xiaomi fans in Pakistan and beyond, with the Xiaomi 16 flagship phone having leaked online with some significant upgrades.
Although the phone is still a few months from launching, tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has already provided notable specifications that will make this phone the one to watch.
Xiaomi 16 leaked specifications
The leak indicates the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, which could launch in September and would deliver a 25% performance improvement using the returning Oryon CPU cores.
Coupled with LPDDR6 RAM and a 30% GPU improvement, the Xiaomi 16 could end up being one of the fastest phones available to buy in a few months.
If this hardware is combined with Android 16 and HyperOS 3.0, the experience should be smoother and smarter.
One of the biggest upgrades was with the camera system. The three cameras on the back of the Xiaomi 16 could include a main 1/1.3-inch 50 MP camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera that could also serve as a macro camera as well.
This configuration is indicated to provide the consumer clearer, more detailed photographs regardless of the user's angle.
Design-wise, the Xiaomi 16 might bring a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen with very slim bezels and a punch-hole selfie camera. The battery is also getting a boost; it could go up to 6500 mAh, much higher than the previous model’s 5400 mAh.
