Redmi 12C was unveiled last year and has now started to get the latest HyperOS August update with the build number OS1.0.6.0.UCVMIXM. It’s considered a distinctive update to the international read-only memory (ROM), but only for a limited time and packed with a few essential optimisations.
The HyperOS August update is likely to be rolled out internationally soon, as users from all over the world are anticipating it, as it’s an impressive model which is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor.

The reason behind this update is to enhance the speed of the handset and make it smoother to perform well, stabilise it, and improve security.
The Chinese tech manufacturer, Xiaomi, keeps rolling out the latest security patches for this handset, so users don't get tired and constantly get something new to explore.
The latest update supports a 393MP file size, and currently, this update will only be available for HyperOS Pilot Testers, which will be expanded to the public soon. Users would start getting the August 2024 security patch after getting this update.
