Xiaomi is gearing up to launch HyperOS 2.2, the latest version of software running Xiaomi phones, following the recent rollout of HyperOS 2.1 in January.
HyperOS 2.2 is expected to bring significant upgrades and exciting features to Xiaomi devices. The new Xiaomi software update will be available to select devices first, including the recently launched flagship models in China.
It should be noted that HyperOS 2.0 was introduced in November 2024, offering multiple UI changes, enhanced security tools, better privacy, and improved device performance.

Tablets and foldables supporting HyperOS 2.2 update
- Xiaomi Pad 7

Although it will be based on Android 15, the update will likely bring a few enhancements, as the company has already introduced two significant builds, suggesting that major features have already been incorporated.
Currently in the testing phase, the HyperOS 2.2 update might be rolled out in late March or early April.
