ANIME, the newly rolled out cryptocurrency, derived from anime and manga, is designed as a "culture coin," a carefully crafted initiative to provide a single platform to connect the anime industry to the ever-widening landscape of blockchain.
Closely knit with the Azuki NFT collection, the renowned keeper of digitally-created anime artworks launched in 2022 in the NFT space, the anime-inspired coin is built on Ethereum and the Arbitrum network.

Functioning as the gas token for Animechain, an Arbitrum Orbit Layer-3 blockchain, the anime coin is also accepted for transactions on Anime.com.
As far as its circulation and trading are concerned, the new cryptocurrency shares immense resemblance with other notable digital tokens, and its supply volume is restricted to 10 billion tokens, out of which 6.8bn are currently exchanging hands-on trading platforms.
