Apple is going to announce the much-awaited iPhone 17 line-up at the "Awe Dropping" event on Tuesday that is just a few hours away.
The iPhone 17 series will consist of four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 17 will include a revamped design, better performance, and a sprinkle of Apple Intelligence, making it Apple's most substantial refresh in years.
As always, prices are a huge point of discussion, especially for Apple fans in Pakistan, but early leaks indicate the new iPhone will come with a fairly hefty price and will fall somewhere in the same range as last year in the US.
However, due to taxes, duties, and importation, the prices in Pakistan will be much higher.
iPhone 17: price in Pakistan (expected)
- iPhone 17: $799 (approx. Rs223,000)
- iPhone 17 Air: $899 (approx. Rs251,000)
- iPhone 17 Pro: $1,099 (approx. Rs307,000)
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: $1,199 (approx. Rs335,000)
Moreover, Apple usually announces the pricing and availability during it's keynote. In Pakistan, however, these prices will be inflated from what was announced alone due to the need for PTA approvals and customs duties, as well as the lack of availability through official channels. In essence, the retail price at a local seller could even exceed the converted figures.
