
Apple has introduced its new flagship models, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, which mark huge leaps in performance, cameras, and durability.
Powered by the super-efficient A18 chip, the new devices introduce advanced capabilities made possible by Apple Intelligence, including Private Cloud Compute, generatively created emojis, and enhanced photo search. These will begin rolling out next month and are going to change how you will interact with your iPhone.
Phone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus specification
The new iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch screen display with Super Retina XDR, while the iPhone 16 Plus has a larger screen at 6.7 inches.
The camera has a new setup, with a 48MP main lens and 12MP telephoto lens, respectively, supporting spatial video recording and enhanced capabilities for computation-based photography.
Cameras in iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are arranged in a vertical stack to accommodate better spatial video recording and integration with headsets such as Vision Pro.

The Action button replaces the mute switch, while the Camera Control button introduces a host of functions and Visual Intelligence features on the iPhone 16 series.
Other inclusions come by way of a larger battery, faster A18 chip, and increased toughness courtesy of the ceramic shield and water resistance on offer. The screen of iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus now employs new glass ceramic, which is 50% tougher than before for added scratch and drop protection.

The prices of the iPhone 16 start at approximately Rs222,721 for 128GB and Rs250,596 for the iPhone 16 Plus. Pre-orders begin immediately, with actual sales commencing on September 20.
