Apple will be hosting its "Awe Dropping" in just a few hours, where Apple fans can expect the new iPhone 17 series to launch.

The new series is expected to be one of the biggest launches since the iPhone X, which will include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

iPhone 17 series display rumours

The regular iPhone 17 might have a 6.3-inch screen (an increase from 6.1 inches), so it would be the same size as the Pro model.

Whereas, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max would retain their 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, respectively, but the iPhone 17 Pro Max may have a 5,000 mAh battery to better facilitate battery life.

iPhone 17 series specs (expected)

All models are expected to provide LTPO OLED displays with a ProMotion 120 Hz refresh rate, so scrolling and video will appear smoother. The iPhone 17 Air will be the thinnest iPhone yet with a 6.6-inch screen and very slim bezels.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be between 5.5 and 6.25 mm thick and will contain a single 48MP rear camera, although it may sacrifice battery strength with a 2,800mAh battery.

Camera improvements include a 24MP TrueDepth front camera across all variants and a 48MP triple-lens system on Pro models, with possible 8x optical zoom and 8K video recording. Enhanced astrophotography is also expected.

Moreover, the design rumours suggest two-tone backs, titanium frames, and bold colour options like a striking orange for the Pro series, alongside a new “camera island” look.

Meanwhile, there have been chats about performance upgrades with the devices being powered by A19 and A19 Pro chipsets; the Pro versions would come installed with 12GB RAM to enable Apple Intelligence capabilities. The base and Air models would only be 8GB.

A major highlight could be reverse wireless charging, allowing Pro models to charge AirPods or the Apple Watch.

iPhone 17 launch in Pakistan

In Pakistan, where Apple's official products face long delays and high PTA taxes, fans are impatiently anticipating the rumours of iPhone 17 series in comparison of it's previous models. If the leaks are accurate, it would be one of Apple's most ambitious smartphone updates in years.
