Apple has been part of debates in the tech market for several months due to its upcoming new iPhone series models. However, a new rumour has surfaced among the tech enthusiasts regarding the tech giant’s upcoming iPhone 17 series.

Apple’s renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that the all-new ‘iPhone 17 Slim’ is set to debut next year. This smartphone will prioritise form over function, featuring a sleek, ultra-slim design at the cost of compromised camera capabilities and other features.

iPhone 17 Slim specifications (rumoured)

According to the Kuo's report, iPhone 17 Slim will be equipped with a 6.6-inch screen, A19 chip, and Dynamic Island, similar to the current iPhone models.

Now, Apple is going to make some serious concessions to fit an ultrathin design into the base model: a single camera on the back, a lower percentage of titanium in the frame, and probably above all, a higher price tag of $1,299.

However, its specifications remain unknown, presuming it could have been a wide-angle lens for a device that wouldn't have the capability to provide the same level of originality as its multi-camera counterpart.

Furthermore, that may also represent a move towards strategy if the iPhone Plus model stops and the iPhone 17 Slim comes to the market. If only 5-10% of the total shipment goes to the plus model, then Apple might look to move into new design trends for the company to move ahead in the tech market.
