Apple Music, the popular music streaming service, allows users to create and customise playlists. This app, alongside a vast music library and user-friendly interface, has become popular among music lovers.

However, the tech giant is expected to be gearing up to announce a new artificial intelligence (AI) feature known as the artwork feature. This feature will allow users to generate custom artwork for their playlists using Apple Intelligence.

The feature is part of the Image Playground app, which was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2024).

Using this feature the users will be able to customise the generated images by selecting different styles, such as animation, illustration, or sketch.

This new feature will make playlist customisation much easier and more engaging as users can express their creativity.

Apple Music's new AI-generated playlist artwork feature uses Apple Intelligence to generate images based on user prompts.

Unfortunately, this feature is under development and is not available for beta users. Even though earlier, Apple announced that some of the Apple Intelligence features would be released this summer, however, the references were subsequently removed from the tech giant's website.

According to the rumours, some of the AI features won’t arrive until 2025. However, a beta preview for the iOS 18 is now available for the developers and public beta users.
