The hype around the recently launched iPhone 16E has barely settled and the iPhone maker has again made to stir the high-end smartphone market, as rumours are pointing to an Ultra variant in the iPhone 17 lineup.
A latest leak has emerged on the internet corroborating some earlier beans spilled around the time of iPhone 15 launch by some credible industry insiders.
As claimed back in the day, new rumnours are also painting the picture of the iPhone 17 series with the Pro model replaced with the Ultra in question. It's also expected that Apple will expand the lineup by retaining all the existing variants of the series and accommodating the new one.
Citing sources, ProPakistani reported that the tech giant is expected to get rid of the Pro Max trim with the new Ultra one.
Since the rumour has stemmed from a supply chain assessment, the iPhone 17 Ultra will stand out for a distinct array of configurations as some hardware changes are reportedly in the pipeline.
iPhone 17 Ultra features
One of the most notable design elements could be a smaller Dynamic Island atop the screen.
Similarly, the upcoming, exclusive iPhone model might also be the only iPhone to be integrated with a vapor chamber cooling system, preventing it from overheating.
Other significantly impressive specifications of the iPhone 17 Ultra include a bigger battery than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which would add to the thickness of the phone.
