Following the launch of the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro in November, Asus is gearing up to launch the Asus ROG Phone 9 fan edition (FE), the latest addition to its popular gaming smartphone lineup. 

The Asus ROG Phone 9 FE variant promises to deliver impressive performance, features, and design.

According to a recent report, the Asus ROG Phone 9 FE boasts a sleek design, closely resembling the ROG Phone 9 Pro. 

The ROG Phone 9 FE features a 6.78-inch 1080p LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, which can boost up to 185Hz for a more immersive gaming experience. 

The device measures 8.9mm thick, weighs 225 grams, and features AirTrigger controls, a signature component of Asus's gaming devices. 

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the Asus ROG Phone 9 FE is paired with 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage and runs on Android 15. 

The ROG Phone 9 FE also packs a 5,500mAh battery with 65W wired and wireless charging. 

Under the camera belt, the ROG Phone 9 FE features a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. 

The device also sports a 32MP front-facing camera. It will be available in Phantom Black colour, maintaining the bold and gaming-oriented aesthetic that the ROG series is known for.

Although official pricing details are not available, the Asus ROG Phone 9 FE is expected to be priced below $800-700. It is worth noting that the standard ROG Phone 9 was priced at $899.
