It's Apple's tradition to keep up with a consistent schedule for iPhone launches, which often falls in early September, meaning that September 9 could be the most likely date for Apple's annual iPhone launch event.

It was also learned that preorders for the iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to commence shortly after its debut probably on September 12, followed by a full retail release on September 19.

The most standout feature of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is a vapour-chamber cooling system, which is typically found in high-end gaming phones to enhance performance during demanding tasks like gaming, 4K video recording, or intensive app usage.
Under the hood, the iPhone maker is also rumoured to increase the RAM to 12 GB, paired with the A19 Pro chip to deliver better performance compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The 6.9-inch ProMotion OLED display is expected to remain, but with a sleeker design featuring slimmer bezels and an enhanced Dynamic Island.
Camera upgrades on the highest-end iPhone 17 modle might include a triple 48-megapixel rear setup and a 24-megapixel front camera, along with support for 8K video. A new Sky Blue variant could also join the lineup.
Considering the integration of all these top-tier configurations and features, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could prove Apple's most powerful device yet.
