Apple might be only days away from rolling out its first bug fix update for iOS 26. A reliable yet anonymous post on X (formerly Twitter) states that iOS 26.0.1 has a build number of 23A355 and could be pushed out any day now.

The update is expected to fix multiple early issues observed by users since the release of iOS 26 early in the week.

Among some of the complaints from customers, including iPhone 17 users, were dropped Wi-Fi connections, Bluetooth issues, the phone overheating when using CarPlay, battery life draining faster, the phone lagging randomly for unknown reasons, and the Camera app stuttering when using it.

While iOS 26 offered Apple's new Liquid Glass design and a variety of new features, the first rollout of the update has left some frustrated with stability issues.

Apple has already confirmed that they are working on a separate fix for an unusual camera bug that is affecting the iPhone Air and the iPhone 17 Pro.

Meanwhile, the company is also testing iOS 26.1, which is likely to bring new features alongside additional fixes.

If history is any guide, Apple typically releases these early point updates within days of such leaks, meaning iOS 26.0.1 could drop before the end of the week.
