Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone new update released

A new update was released on September 5, 2024, for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, which shall fix several bugs and make adjustments to improve the gaming experience. This update is one of the last for Season 5 Reloaded, with Season 6 promising even more quality-of-life updates.

The update fixes several bugs, including the DEV ERROR 12744 issue that prevented split-screen players from playing on the Celship map. Infil sequences have also been disabled on certain maps to prevent mixed-team spawns.

Additionally, the update fixes the infinite reserve ammunition bug for the BAL-27's JAK Deathmarch Conversion Kit and corrects the alignment of the Torque 35's optic reticle.

Warzone has also received some key adjustments, including changes to the Bunker Buster killstreak. Players will now receive a message reading "Airspace is too crowded" if they try to use a Bunker Buster within proximity of one that's already enabled. A bug that prevented players from using a Deployable Buy Station more than once has also been fixed.

More updates to come

More quality-of-life improvements are expected in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 6. Warzone will also undergo major changes with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, including support for the Omnimovement system, which will give players a greater range of movement in gunfights.
