Tecno recently unveiled the Camon 30S Pro quietly, efficiently powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. The Camon 30S Pro is the first phone with the Helio G100, featuring Carrier-Aggregate (CA) 2.0 technology, which allows downlink data to extend to 300 Mbits. Tecno refers to this as 4.5G.
However, one feature that might disappoint users is the lack of 5G support in this device. On the bright side, it offers enhanced storage of 8GB/256GB, expandable to 16GB, which is quite impressive.

Display and Camera
The Camon 30S Pro features an enlarged 6.78” AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. For camera enthusiasts, it boasts a 50 MP selfie camera with eye-tracking AF inside a punch hole, making it ideal for selfie enthusiasts.
On the rear, it features a 50 MP camera with an IMX896 sensor, which is 1/1.56” in size with a 1μm pixel size, along with a 2 MP depth sensor.
Battery and Colours
The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with a 45W threshold for faster charging. It also supports 20W wireless charging and comes with three different charging modes, making it the first Tecno phone to feature wireless charging capability.
Additionally, it comes with a special magnetic case that allows the Tecno charging pad to snap right onto the coil. It is also compatible with non-magnetic chargers from third-party Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and is enveloped in IP53 waterproof technology.
The Camon 30S Pro sports a stellar and slim design, with a 7.75 mm body, and is available in three different colours: Grey, Silver, and Gold.
