The world's largest technology trade show, CES, is set to kick off in Las Vegas on Tuesday, unveiling a slew of cutting-edge gadgets from top tech brands even before its official opening.

Among the highlights are innovative high-end televisions, health-tracking devices, and a revolutionary phone holder capable of automatically tracking users as they move in front of the camera.

Withings, a wearables firm, has introduced BeamO, a compact device integrating a thermometer, ECG heart monitor, digital stethoscope, and blood oxygen level scanner, touting it as the world's first four-in-one vitals monitor that conducts a comprehensive health check in just a minute.

Major players like Samsung, Sony, LG, and Panasonic will reveal their latest products and provide glimpses into their upcoming technologies at the annual event. Samsung is gearing up to showcase a new lineup of high-end 8K resolution TVs, including a speaker within its Frame range that mimics a modern picture frame when not in use. Additionally, transparent TV technology will be demonstrated by both Samsung and LG at the show.

Belkin, a smartphone accessory maker, has unveiled a motorised iPhone stand designed to automatically adjust and keep a subject in focus during camera use for social media, content creation, or video calling.

Etc, a startup under the BT Group, seized the opportunity to announce plans for a trial to convert old green street cabinets — formerly used for broadband and phone cables — into electric vehicle charging points.

Experts anticipate that artificial intelligence and automotive technology will dominate as major trends at the show. Ahead of the official opening, several prominent brands are scheduled to host events on Monday to unveil their latest devices and services, with the automotive industry increasingly taking centre stage at CES.
