Apple has launched watchOS 26.2, which brings a update to how sleep data is measured and presented. The rollout aims to give clearer health insights, added safety tools, and practical fixes that improve your experience of using the Apple Watch on a regular basis.
The American tech giant said that the latest OS update introduces an advanced Sleep Score classification with a new score range. Sleep results now fall into five categories, which include:
- Very Low from 0 to 40.
- Low from 41 to 60.
- OK from 61 to 80.
- High from 81 to 95.
- Very High from 96 to 100.
Apple watchOS 26.2 includes these improvements and bug fixes, including:
- Refinements to sleep score classifications and notification controls.
- An issue where the Music app fails to advance to the next song.
- Improved Safety Alerts will inform you about imminent threats such as floods, natural disasters, and other emergencies, with rich information like a map of affected areas and links to safety guidance.
