Changan’s premium EV brand Deepal is set to launch its latest mid-size electric SUV, the Deepal S07, on September 17, 2025, and it’s already creating major buzz in the global auto market. 

The pre-sale prices have been announced between 156,900 and 173,900 yuan (USD 21,800–24,200), positioning it as a strong value contender in the competitive electric SUV segment.

Deepal S07 features 

The Deepal S07 combines futuristic design, a spacious cabin, and class-leading driver-assist technology to appeal to luxury- and performance-minded buyers. 

One of the key features of the S07 is the integration of Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE System, which brings advanced autonomous driving capabilities to the SUV, like automated highway driving (NCA), urban lane cruising that recognises traffic lights, and smart parking assist with over 160 parking scenarios.

In terms of exterior design, the SUV has sporty two-tone paintwork, blacked-out trim, sporty alloy wheels, and through-type LED tail lights, all of which give it an aggressive and modern appeal. 

The S07 has a length of 4750 mm and a 2900 mm wheelbase, which provides ample passenger space complemented by privacy glass and double-layer sound-deadening windows.

Step inside the cabin, and it definitely feels upscale and tech-forward. The 15.6-inch 2.5K control screen and enormous 55-inch AR-HUD display are the highlights and are made snappy by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P Cockpit Chip for a seamless experience.

The entertainment system is also noteworthy, with a 20-speaker Dolby sound system and a rear passenger display.

Buyers will have two powertrain options to choose from: an EREV version with up to 1320 km combined range (300 km pure electric) and a pure EV version offering 550 km CLTC range on a single charge.
