The much-awaited Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is officially confirmed to release on August 5, 2025. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and personal computer (PC).

This sequel continues the story after the Mugen Train Arc, allowing fans to experience the next major chapters of the anime in an action-packed adventure.

What to expect from Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2?

Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will cover the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. These arcs feature some of the most intense battles in the series.

Players will join Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, along with the Hashira warriors, as they take on powerful demons. Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji will be playable characters, with their Hashira abilities available to defeat the Upper-Rank demon in the Swordsmith Village Arc.

The first Hinokami Chronicles game, released in 2021, covered the Unwavering Resolve Arc and Mugen Train Arc and sold over three million copies worldwide.

Moreover, its fighting mechanics and anime-style storytelling made it a hit among fans. With the sequel expanding the story, fans expect bigger battles, improved graphics, and new gameplay elements.

As Demon Slayer enters its final phase with the Infinity Castle Arc, future game adaptations could focus on the series' ultimate battle. However, for now, Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is expected to offer an exciting experience for fans when it launches this August.
