The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched an exciting initiative to attract 10,000 digital content creators to its metropolitan city, Dubai.

The programme, called "Creators HQ," will provide people with support for UAE golden visa applications, relocation assistance, and company setup.

The initiative is backed by a substantial AED 150 million (approximately $40.8 million) Content Creators Support Fund, which was introduced at the 1Billion Followers Summit last year.

This fund will enable content creators to access various resources, including mentorship programmes, funding opportunities, and creative camps for youth.

Alongside social media influencers, this programme is open to a diverse range of digital creators, including podcasters, visual artists, media professionals, advertising and marketing firms, music producers, animation studios, and fashion brands.

If successful, this initiative could establish the city as a global leader in digital content creation, contributing to its economic diversification goals.

The programme also plans to host over 300 events and workshops annually, covering essential topics such as branding, storytelling, video production, and monetisation strategies.

With this programme, Dubai aims to build partnerships with tech companies, including social media platforms, streaming services, gaming firms, and AI startups.

Moreover, according to Forbes, Dubai aims to position itself as a creator-friendly destination with top-tier infrastructure, tax incentives, and specialised support.
