FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have officially revealed The Forsaken Hollows, a major new DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign. The expansion will launch across all platforms on December 4, 2025, bringing new gameplay content and features to the acclaimed roguelike experience.

This announcement came during Sony's State of Play Japan on Tuesday, where a 108-second trailer showcased new gameplay mechanics, fearsome bosses, and the eerie new environment, The Great Hollow.

The official reveal of the Elden Ring Nightreign comes after Kadokawa Corporation hinted at the DLC's release window during the company's earnings call on November 6, originally stating the new content would launch before March 2026.

The Forsaken Hollows introduces two new Nightfarer classes: the Scholar and the Undertaker. The Scholar focuses on high "Arcane" and battlefield observation, offering a tactical style for players who enjoy strategy.

The Undertaker brings together "Faith" and "Strength", making for a powerful frontline fighter designed to fight with aggression.

In addition, the expansion adds a Shifting Earth environment, The Great Hollow, described as a large cavity in Limveld. Players will encounter new bosses and fresh challenges throughout this eerie setting.

Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Edition owners will receive The Forsaken Hollows for free. Available for $54.99 (approx. Rs15,544), the Deluxe Edition offers the DLC itself, along with a mini digital soundtrack and artbook if pre-ordered.

Formerly known as the $15 (approx. Rs4,240) Deluxe Upgrade Pack, this has now been repurposed into The Forsaken Hollows.

As of July 2025, Elden Ring Nightreign has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide. Kadokawa Corporation expects the DLC to further boost sales and maintain the game's commercial momentum going into 2026.
