Slated to kick off at Google's Made by Google event which is scheduled to take place next month, the Pixel 9 is all the fuss on the internet leaks from credible sources.
Various leaks have made it to provide insights into the design and visual appeal of the latest Pixel series, but a recent thread unfolded everything about the design, AI features, and more about the Pixel 9 series.
As reported by 9to5Google, the design-centric aspect of the leak extends a closeup of all the Pixel 9 variants, displaying the Pixel 9 Pro XL in black, grey, porcelain, and pink colourways complimented by a soft matte finish to the glass and a polished metal frame.
Pixel Screenshots on Pixel 9
In terms of functionality, the Pixel Screenshot feature is reminiscent of Microsoft’s abandoned feature “Recall” on Snapdragon-powered Windows PCs.
It allows users to take screenshots and get them analysed, if a user wills, with the help of AI, to instantly get their queries answered.
"Pixel Screenshots helps you save info that you want to remember later – like events, places, and more. So you can find what you need, right when you need it," Google explained.
Moreover, the pro models of the Pixel 9 series, comprising Pixel 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold, is said to carry under the hood Gemini Advanced for free for one year, but there's a catch: only the early buyers of the Pixel 9 series will be able to avail of this offer. The deadline is October 2025.
To ensure users don't get trapped in any unfavourable situations, Google further underlines Emergency SOS, crisis alerts for nearby fires or floods, and prevention of cyber attacks and scams as the dominating, Pixel-exclusive features of the Pixel 9 series.
The search engine giant also in the past announced a similar, but AI-powered, feature to detect scams and phishing attacks and inform the user about it.
