As Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is right around the corner, the internet is buzzing about it, offering aficionados a glimpse into key details surrounding the much-awaited Galaxy S25 series.

Expected to lift the veil off three confirmed variants of the Galaxy S25 lineup at the launch event scheduled for January 22, the South Korean tech giant has allegedly delayed the announcement of Galaxy S25 Slim, the fourth anticipated variant.

Galaxy S25 Slim launch date

Anonymously citing a prolific tipster on Weibo, The Express Tribune reported that the handset is an ultra-slim trim in the entire lineup, and is now likely to debut in May 2025.

Not delving deep into the launch schedule, the leaker outlines that the Galaxy S25 Slim will launch sometime in the given month. It must be noted that the provided date for the purpotedly delayed launch of the Galaxy S25 Slim is tentative, considering the credibility of the tipster.

Earlier reports emerged on benchmark platforms claiming that the device is in the works. On the other hand, earlier findings in the One UI 7 Beta code hinted at its launch falling in Q2 2025, which spans April to June.

Galaxy S25 Slim specs (expected)

As far as the key specifications of the Galaxy S25 Slim are concerned, it is likely to be just 6.5mm in thickness and might as well address the differences between the display variation between the S25 Plus and Ultra models.

Rumours suggested that the Galaxy S25 Slim might feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display complimented with a 120Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Galaxy smartphone could also be backed by silicon-carbon battery technology, a hardware component crucial to make the phone maintain a slim form factor.
