Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch its new Galaxy S26 series this year, as a successor to the Galaxy S25 lineup. The South Korean tech giant is expected to host its annual 'Galaxy Unpacked event' in San Francisco.
The Galaxy S26 series will include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. There are multiple rumours circulating on social media platforms regarding the launch timeline of Galaxy S26 series. In the past, some reports have also suggested a late January launch of Galaxy 26 series, while others have claimed a late February unveiling.
What is launch date of Galaxy S26 series?
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) stated: "The date of 25 February is 100% correct. You can take it to the bank." The tipster's claim is in line with a November 2025 report, which suggested the same launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series globally, including Pakistan.
It should be noted that if the tipster's claim come out accurate, then Samsung would host its annual Galaxy Unpacked event after a month's delay — it usually takes place by the end of January. However, the company has yet to official give any official statement about the launch timeline of the Samsung Galaxy S26 series globally.
The company is expected to price the upcoming handsets significantly higher than the launch price of their predecessors. The Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to be powered by the new 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset in select markets, including South Korea, while featuring Qualcomm's Octa Core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip in others.
