Samsung's next most-awaited smartwatch is almost here, as some leaks suggest what features and prices they could have.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is set to be announced at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9, 2025, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip FE.

Galaxy Watch 8 series features (expected)

There are a few rumours floating around that Watch 8 will have three models: the regular Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra. The series will also introduce a new design called "squircle," which will have a mix of square and round elements, which has already created a debate on social media.

All three models will feature the Samsung 3nm Exynos W1000 chip that is also used in the Galaxy Watch 7. The regular watch and Classic will come with 2GB RAM + 64GB storage, while the base model will come with 32GB.

Moreover, users should expect health features such as ECG and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) sensors. The watches will have bright 3,000-nit displays that are protected by sapphire glass.

Among the special features of the Galaxy Watch Ultra are an 86dB emergency siren, a 47mm titanium body, and a 590mAh battery, making it a great fit for outdoor and fitness enthusiasts.

The price of Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 8 (expected)

According to a leak from Android Police, the pricing ranges for the Galaxy Watch 8 in Europe may be up €50 to €60 more than last year. The 40mm watch could be €380, while the Classic may be €530. Only the Galaxy Watch Ultra will see the same €700 price as before.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Watch 8 worldwide on July 9, and sales in Europe may begin on July 23.
