
Google is rolling out a Gemini AI image generator directly in Google Docs, allowing users to add enhanced-quality visuals to their documents.
The new AI image generator feature is similar to Microsoft Designer and Image Creator, powered by DALL-E 2, available in Microsoft Office products.
Notably, in 2023, Google Slides also integrated a built-in presentation slide generator powered by Google’s Clippy-like Duet AI tools.

How to use Gemini AI image generator in Google Docs?
To use the Gemini AI image generator in Docs, users are required to navigate to the “Help me create an image” option, present in the “Image” option under “Insert.”
This will open a panel on the sidebar where users can enter a prompt. However, to further customise the image, users can click on “Add a style,” and the tool will suggest several options. Users can click on the preferred image to insert it in the document.
Moreover, users can choose from square, horizontal, and vertical aspect ratios for the images.
The Gemini AI image generator in Docs is currently available to paid Workspace accounts that include the Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education Premium, and Google One AI Premium add-ons.
