A new leak has sparked excitement across the Genshin Impact community, hinting at several significant map expansions expected to arrive in 2026.
The information comes from one of the game’s most reliable leakers, Full Stop Chan, who shared an early outline of the zones planned for the second half of Nod-Krai.
Genshin Impact expansion leak
World-building content has slowed down considerably in Genshin Impact throughout 2025, with a total of three new zones released across Versions 5.5, 5.8, and 6.0.
The quality of new regions, such as Natlan and Nod-Krai, is high, but the much-reduced frequency has disappointed many players who regard exploring as the core part of playing the game.
If the latest leak is any indication, Version 6.4 could whisk players away to Dornman Port, which would be Mondstadt's first expansion since Dragonspine's arrival in Version 1.2. Version 6.5 will reportedly add Hyperborea as a separate region, much like Enkanomiya.
Reportedly, these updates would follow the expected rollout of Piramida and Lake Amsvartnir from Version 6.3, resulting in three consecutive expansions to start the year 2026.
The leak also talks about a future zone called the Space of Asmoday, which may appear towards the end of Nod-Krai's storyline. Asmoday is the missing member of the Four Shades, and many think this will be the late-game or post-Archon chapter area.
Liben's datamined dialogue for his upcoming appearance further reinforces speculation around Dornman Port, with his lines referencing the location.
With the addition of other anticipated characters like Varka, Alice, and Nicole, said to be coming in 2026, the stage may be set for a major Mondstadt-focused revival.
